What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Cima Construction Inc.?
CIMA Construction is seeking for an experienced commercial construction estimator to join our fast-growing small company, the position will specialize in estimation duties for new Multi Family, Envelope Projects, Tenant Improvements and much more. The estimator will be responsible for preparing an accurate, complete, and competitive quote for all clients. As an estimator you will bid on projects up to 2M.
Key Responsibilities:
· Review and interpret any drawings, specifications and any supporting documents to provide a accurate cost estimates, ranges and or change orders.
· Collaborate with office manager, project manger and client to gather any necessary information for a complete quote.
· Calculate all necessary labor, material, equipment and indirect cost associated with each project.
· Provide client any clarification needed for a project award.
· Meet with clients onsite to review scope, accessibility, and contributing cost.
Candidate Requirements:
· At least two years of estimating and bidding projects.
· Must be authorized to work in the US
· Must possess proper documentation for any required border crossing.
· Be able to learn and have a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
· Must be proficient in all Microsoft 365 systems.
· Be comfortable with making calls to any vendors or clients to provide a complete quote.
· Be an organized and detail oriented individual, keeping track of all project cost and budgets.
· Must be a reliable individual the team can count on.
Salary : $30 - $40
