Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced foreman for a siding project in Bellingham to oversee the day to day activities of the project and to install as well along with the crew. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction trades, including roofing, drywall, and carpentry. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, hands-on skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Must be able to speak professionally in Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Fill out daily activity logs
- Oversee the restoration and fabrication processes, ensuring quality workmanship in siding installation, and other construction tasks.
- Provide hands-on assistance with heavy lifting and other physical tasks as needed.
- Train and mentor team members on proper use of hand tools and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress and compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct brief safety meetings onsite for the crew.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan schedules and allocate resources efficiently.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members regarding project updates.
- Be able to walk with GC or Architects whenever requested.
Skills
- Proficient in restoration techniques related to roofing, drywall, siding, and carpentry.
- Strong ability to fabricate components as required for various projects.
- Experience using hand tools effectively and safely in a construction environment.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks as necessary for project completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Be able to read drawings and specs, to give valuable input.

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
