Job Summary: HR Service Center Liaison
Location: Hybrid (Minnetonka or Columbus - Easton location)
The HR Service Center Liaison is responsible for administering the Bank's accommodation processes and policies to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other relevant federal and state laws. This role involves extensive collaboration with legal teams, leave administration, and third-party vendors to provide a seamless experience for colleagues requiring accommodations or leaves.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding accommodation needs, intermittent leaves, and non-FMLA/personal leaves, ensuring they understand their responsibilities and required documentation.
- Coordinate, conduct, and document interactive discussions to determine appropriate actions for restrictions and accommodations, ensuring compliance with ADA and other applicable laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of leave and accommodation laws, including federal FMLA, ADA, and state/local regulations.
- Counsel managers and colleagues to foster effective communication, strong relationships, and a positive work environment.
- Document all employee relations matters comprehensively and promptly in the case management system.
- Adhere to company policies and federal, state, and local regulations while managing employee accommodations and leaves.
- Operate efficiently in a high-volume environment, prioritizing tasks to meet demands.
- Perform additional duties and participate in projects as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred).
- 1-3 years of HR experience with a focus on ADA and FMLA compliance.
- Experience supporting a large client base is preferred.
