SUMMARY:
Greeting and escorting guests to tables in the restaurant, monitoring the restaurant and all staff, maintaining a courteous and efficient operation of the dining room to ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.
Procure and maintain liquor license, serve alcoholic drinks to guest in accordance with C.A.R.E. training and CCE Policy and Procedure.
Read, maintain and make daily entries in the log book to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
Maintain proper set-up of dining room
Receive record and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
Perform opening and closing duties. Assist others with side work to include cleaning, stocking, and folding napkins.
Will be the cashier.
Serve food as needed.
Food safety and planning
- Practices for general cleanliness, and maintenance of dining areas.
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
- Must be ServSafe certified.
- Will uphold all ServSafe guidelines.
Guest Service
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guest.
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accident.
Community Involvement
- Provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel.
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Self-discipline, initiative, leadership ability and outgoing.
- Pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Keeps Food and Beverage Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e. problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
- Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with CCE policies and procedures.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma (or GED) and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands. Excellent oral and written skills preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to interpret technical language and the ability to communicate effectively with the employee.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
