SUMMARY:
|
Works under the general supervision of the Cimarron Casino Enterprises Surveillance Manager and responsible for surveillance of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma owned casinos. Monitors gaming floor providing asset protection, detect crimes, violations, and disturbances, using video and/or audio surveillance equipment. Monitors and reports observations by generating reports, in accordance with department policies and procedures. This position has access to extremely sensitive information and the incumbent must adhere to Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma confidentiality policy. |

Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
|
High School Diploma and/or equivalent (required) AND 6 months experience in law enforcement, security, or surveillance preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Gaming experience preferred.
|
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: |
|
LANGUAGE SKILLS: |
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and regulations. Ability to generate well written reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in a courteous manner to customers and employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: |
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. |
REASONING ABILITY: |
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with issues, while maintaining a calm professional bearing.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: |
Ability to be in a sedentary position for long periods. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or climb stairs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: |
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment is typically smoky.
