What are the responsibilities and job description for the Track Assistant Coach position at Cimarron High School?
Cimarron Municipal Schools is seeking an assistant coach for the track team. If you are interested, please submit an application, attach a resume, and please include your coaching experience and your coaching philosophy.
This is a volunteer position. You will receive a coaching stipend in the fee listed below.
Applicant must have a Coaching License issue from NMPED or be able to obtain one.

Initial License
- $50 (non-refundable) fee; and
- Initial application via NMPED Online Licensure Portal; and
- Copy of verification of completion of the (NFHS) First Aid, Health and Safety through the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA); and
- Copy of verification of completion of the (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching through the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA); and
- Copy of verification of completion of the CPR/AED certification.
- NOTE: An applicant who has completed/provided the (NFHS) First Aid, Health and Safety, and CPR/AED certifications but has not completed the (NFHS) Fundamentals of Coaching through the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA) may be issued a one-year non-renewable temporary license to afford the candidate time to complete the training.
