Cimarron is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado.
Key Duties
- Perform repair and replacement of electrical circuit components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Install and troubleshoot light fixtures and switches in accordance with electrical codes and standards.
- Install electrical receptacles and outlets, including proper wiring and testing.
- Provide power connections for systems furniture, ensuring compatibility with electrical infrastructure.
- Assist with the demolition, installation, removal, and reconfiguration of modular furniture systems.
- Support carpet removal and replacement projects as needed.
- Assist with ceiling grid repairs and reconfiguration, ensuring structural and aesthetic alignment.
- Track, update, and close work orders using a Windows-based facilities management system.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- 8 or more years of experience with common electrical tasks and tools.
- Current Colorado Journeyman Electrical License (or higher).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Familiarity with Windows-based work order systems.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
