Key Duties
- Support packaging of drawing releases, including managing CCTC, PMP processing, and tracking drawing release schedules.
- Conduct research, design, development, and testing of electromechanical equipment and systems.
- Assist with the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
- Produce and check electrical engineering drawings using Creo Parametric and Zuken applications.
- Support troubleshooting and calibration of hardware components.
- Ensure compliance with electrical design standards such as EMS200.
- Develop and maintain electrical design documentation related to operations and maintenance.
- Perform rack tip analysis and support ground power/battery emulation systems.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education :
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Knowledge of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) designs and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in basic rack assembly and final assembly of Electrical Ground Support Equipment.
- Ability to produce electrical engineering drawings using Creo Parametric and/or Zuken applications.
- Familiarity with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FFMEA).
- Experience with ground power and battery emulation systems.
- Understanding of electrical design standards, such as EMS200.
- Proficiency with Windchill (EPDM) for data management.
- Hands-on experience with electrical drawing checking and hardware component calibration.
- Ability to develop electrical design documentation, including operations and maintenance procedures.
- Experience performing rack tip analysis.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of related experience, Master's degree and 3 or more years of related experience, or Ph.D and 1 or more years of related experience.
- Experience or coursework in schematic capture using Zuken or similar tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with mechanical drawing checking.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or RedHat OS.
- Knowledge of NI LabVIEW operations.
- Experience in software development or maintenance.
- Instructor-level experience or coursework in analog and digital design.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio.
