Key Responsibilities
- Assist with set up and operation of a sheet fed press to complete print projects efficiently.
- Ability to learn how to run tests and trials as requested.
- Help detect and report defective materials or potential problems; complete quality checks.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost and safety to achieve positive results.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machine as required.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) related to job function and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’S).
- Back up for press operator as needed.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Work OT as required.
- High School Diploma or General education degree (GED)
- Basic math skills and must be able to use measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Good mechanical aptitude with ability to problem solve.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Previous printing press or machine operation is a plus.
