What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Operations Center Specialist position at Cimarron Software?
Cimarron is seeking part-time and full-time Security Operations Center Specialists to join our dedicated team in McClellan Park, CA. In this role, you will be part of a team providing 24/7 onsite support to ensure security and operational excellence.
Key Duties:
- Monitor and control physical access to company property, ensuring all entry points are secure.
- Produce and issue identification credentials in compliance with company requirements, ensuring proper authorization for access to company property.
- Operate and maintain company-standard production equipment and supplies for credential creation.
- Verify identification and proof of citizenship to ensure export compliance.
- Accurately enter required records into company-provided data management systems.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph (or higher).
- Extremely organized with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the job, including climbing ladders, stairs, lifting up to 35 pounds, lifting arms above head height, and quickly moving to different areas of the building at a brisk walking pace with or without an assistive mobility device.
- Ability to work any shift assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Experience with monitoring facility alarms, CCTV, and fire alarm systems.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and journal entries.
- Ability to read and interpret maps and building floor plans.
