CIMCO is looking for a Warehouse Associate for our facility in Duncan, SC.
Role Responsibilities
The Warehouse Associate will assist welders and fitters in fitting and tacking pipes, gaining hands-on experience in welding and fitting. This role is also responsible for efficiently moving, shipping, storing, and unloading various materials, ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities.
- Assist Welders and Fitters : Help in fitting and tacking pipes, learning the trade from experienced professionals.
- Operate Forklifts : Safely load and unload materials using electric or mechanical forklifts.
- Inventory Management : Accurately count and record materials received or shipped to maintain inventory levels.
- Material Handling : Store, count, weigh, and open incoming materials to ensure they are ready for use.
- Labeling and Organizing : Label and organize boxes to ensure materials are easily identifiable and accessible.
- Prepare Shipments : Bundle and wrap shipments securely for transport.
- Maintain Clean Workspace : Dispose of leftover packing materials like wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard.
