Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced machinist to work on our 1st shift team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes in a job shop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
- Adjust speeds, feeds, offsets, and changeovers as needed.
- Run the first piece and perform first piece inspections on parts.
- Set up tooling and ensure accurate measurements using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with CNC machines.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Excellent safety record and adherence to regulatory compliance.
