JOB DESCRIPTION

DEPARTMENT : Maintenance

LOCATION : Dallas, Corporate Office

JOB DUTIES

Develop and implement a regular maintenance schedule for all theater facilities, including the auditorium, backstage, restrooms, and public areas.

Ensure that all facilities comply with local and national safety standards, and that emergency exit routes, fire safety systems, and other safety equipment are regularly inspected and functional.

Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team, delegating tasks as necessary and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Prepare and manage the facilities maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maintaining high standards.

Identify, vet, and manage relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of theater equipment, including lighting, sound systems, and stage machinery.

Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify areas of concern or improvement and address them proactively.

Oversee any renovation or construction projects within the theater, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs while maintaining optimal functionality.

Coordinate with other department heads to ensure maintenance schedules align with production calendars and event timings to minimize disruptions.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related role, preferably in the theater or entertainment industry.

Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

SKILLS

Proficient in the use of facilities management software.

Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
