Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Job Coach for our Summer Youth Work Experience Program. The Job Coach will play a pivotal role in guiding young participants with visual impairments through their summer employment, helping them develop professional skills, and ensuring a rewarding and educational work experience. This is a temporary, summer position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized support and coaching to program participants.
• Monitor and evaluate participants' daily work progress, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with employers to ensure a positive experience for both participants and businesses.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during the program and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of participants' progress and program activities.
• Encourage and support participants in developing professional networks and connections.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Work, Human Resources) or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or working with youth in a professional setting.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
