Job Description:
- To perform routine cleanings, exams, and X-rays for patients, ensuring their teeth and gums are healthy and free from disease.
- To educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and the use of mouthwash.
- To take impressions and create dental models as needed.
- To assist the dentist with procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
