Status : Full-Time, Exempt
Starting : August 11, 2025
Position Overview : Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Coach to support students in grades 4-12. The Academic Coach will be responsible for providing academic guidance, support, and enrichment to students, while aligning instruction with the values and teachings of the Christian faith. This role requires a love for teaching, flexibility, patience, and a desire for fostering spiritual growth in students.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with students, parents, and teaching team to develop and keep current individualized academic plans to support students' learning needs
- Provide one-on-one and small group instruction to reinforce classroom lessons
- Work closely with the classroom / general education teacher throughout all stages of the educational process, from collaboratively planning and designing lessons to implementing differentiated instruction and assessments, ensuring that each students' individual needs are met, and progress is consistently monitored
- Encourage spiritual development by integrating Christian values and teachings into the daily routine
- Collaborate with the school's leadership and teaching staff to create a nurturing and academically focused environment
- Maintain proactive communication with parents and teachers regarding student progress and areas for growth
- Provide academic coaching to students to help them identify and address their personal learning needs, to increase academic achievement and bolster skill-development, such as learning and studying techniques, executive functioning skills, and test-taking strategies
- Provide mentorship, services, and programming that increase motivation, build resiliency, and foster a positive school climate for all students
- Participate in professional growth opportunities through staff development, in-service, workshops, and other means
- Other duties as assigned by the administrative staff
