Position Summary:
CHCA seeks a visionary and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. This role will drive innovation, foster sustainable business practices, and cultivate entrepreneurial initiatives that align with CHCA's organizational mission.
General Responsibilities:
- Cast vision for the Entrepreneurship and Sustainability program that is in alignment with the Board of Trustees and Head of School
- Lead and oversee all programming, activities, and team members related to the Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Department
- Teach classes in the Upper School
- Direct the student-run businesses
- Provide professional development regularly for CHCA faculty to foster innovation in pedagogy and assessment
- Be a visible, active presence on CHCA campuses
- Participate as a key voice in the Education Council
- Active participation in key Advancement meetings with donors related to Entrepreneurship and Sustainability
Skills and Requirements:
- A commitment to the mission and values of CHCA
- A minimum of a BA in education, entrepreneurship, business, or a related field
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create and execute community engagement among faculty, staff, parents, and students
- Facilitation, problem solving, and conflict management skills
- Financial and operational acumen
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or related field
- 5 years of experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience in building and scaling programs or ventures
