Job Title: Greenhouse Specialist
Reports to: Entrepreneurship & Sustainability Director
Start Date: May or June for short training (time is flexible), part-time position begins August 1, 2025
Qualifications:
Experience: horticulture and/or greenhouse experience; special attention given to applicants with teaching experience
Key Skills: hand-eye coordination, mobility in tight spaces, use of a ladder, ability to regularly lift 25 lbs.
Required Education: high school diploma or equivalent
Duties/Description:
Seeking a part-time greenhouse specialist for the Entrepreneurship and Sustainability Program at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy. Job responsibilities will include maintaining spaces in the school greenhouse and outside school gardens with emphasis on seed starting, garden planning, trellising, and harvesting. Position could include teaching responsibilities and/or giving engaging tours of spaces while maintaining a high standard of overall appearance of growing spaces.
