PK 2 Lead Teacher
Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt, Faculty
Start Date: August 11, 2025
Schedule - M-F, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., following the school calendar
Reporting To: Early Childhood Learning Center Principal
Job Summary: Educate preschool aged children, creating an engaging environment in which students can thrive and learn.
- Responsible for all instruction in preschool classroom, including care and nurture of all enrolled students
- Able to communicate effectively, possessing developed verbal and written interpersonal skills
- Able to assess the social emotional, academic developmental needs of the young child
- Plan engaging/creative developmentally appropriate activities to make a rich classroom experience
- Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively, developing positive relationships with the ECLC staff, administrators, parents, and students
- Able to integrate Christian principles into the child's learning experiences and nurture their faith
Qualifications:
- Minimum - Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Experience working with preschool age children
- Current Ohio teaching license
- Strong Christian background
- Familiar with Reggio Inspired Approach to Early Childhood Education
