Student Support Aide / Recess Aide - Founders' Campus Upper Elementary 4-6
Status: Part time, non-exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 1:20 p.m.
Reporting To: Upper Elementary 4-6 Principal
Starting: August 2025 - May 2026, following the school calendar
Job Responsibilities
Student Support Aide - 8 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
- Assist students within the classroom with work completion, attention, and organizational skills
- Proctor students tests and quizzes, following their individual testing accommodation plans
- Follow and implement student accommodation plans within the classrooms
- Establish positive rapport with students and staff
- Engage as a member of a collaborative team to promote student learning
- Other duties as assigned
Recess Aide - 10:50 a.m. - 1:20 p.m. (with break built in the schedule)
- Supervise Grade 4-6 students throughout recess
- Ensure that students are following rules and procedures to maintain a positive and safe environment
- Communicate with teachers when issues arise
Qualifications
- 4 year college degree
- Experience working with children
- Friendly and flexible demeanor
- Comfortable working in a multi-denominational Christian community
- Able to promote the mission and values of the school
