SCOPE: This role oversees CMHA's resident relocation services, encompassing tasks such as reasonable accommodations and transfer requests. Additionally, the position includes supervising the relocation staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and provide overall supervision for relocation, transfer requests, and reasonable accommodations process and activities.
• Responsible for the review, scheduling and implementation of relocation, transfer request, and reasonable accommodation activities and requirements; maintain the overall schedule for the relocations.
• Coordinate needed social services for residents’ personal needs during the relocation process; makes every attempt to place residents near their current home address when relocating them to their temporary housing location.
• Provide residents timely relocation communication. Provide residents translation and interpretation services as needed. Assist with residents’ questions, complaints, research and follow up with residents if needed. Meet construction schedule and resident needs with the minimum of disruption of residents. Responsible for other duties as assigned.
• Oversee the communications between the relocation coordinator personnel and residents with regard to relocation activities.
• Provide notice of the terms and conditions to the resident when their unit is complete, ensuring it meets the HUD standard of decent, safe and sanitary housing.
• Assist the resident with any relocation claims.
• Mentor and coach staff in effort to achieve established goals and enhance individual and group performance; completion of annual performance reviews; prepare and submits timesheets and payroll adjustments; hire, discipline, approve leave, etc.;
• Provide Gold Standard customer service to internal and external clients;
• Perform additional duties as assigned
