GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Cincinnati Public Schools invites applications for the position of ECE Specialist to assist with serving diverse early learning students and their families.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and Training:
- Minimum of two years of experience working with early learning students in a school environment or related setting.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood and district structure, policies, processes and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university in Business Administration management, communications, or other related field(s) is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provide customer service to families and support trainings to employees who serve families
- Work collaboratively with Central Office Departments, Service Coordinator 1 to identify needs and provide support to ensure positive customer service, registration/enrollment efficiency, program compliance and staff development
- Supervise, monitor, and provide professional development
- Audit and provide support to ECE staff
- Audit and monitor District and Department data systems
- Develop monthly Department meetings
- Attend community meeting as related to positions
- Develop and implement community events aligned to other district departments and community partners
- Provide oversight of ECE Policy Council and Parent Committee meetings to meet grant requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Employment Provisions
Type of Contract: 260 day limited
Salary: Specialist per CAAS agreement
