Job Purpose: The 2025 Minor League Athletic Training Intern role offers the opportunity for a student athletic trainer to learn from and assist the Minor League Athletic Trainer. This role will primarily assist the Minor League Athletic Trainers with daily responsibilities during the 2025 home series.

Job Purpose: The 2025 Minor League Athletic Training Intern role offers the opportunity for a student athletic trainer to learn from and assist the Minor League Athletic Trainer. This role will primarily assist the Minor League Athletic Trainers with daily responsibilities during the 2025 home series.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interact and collaborate with Team Physicians, Cincinnati Reds staff, and the affiliates' front office/support personnel
- Handle and support daily player care responsibilities
- Assist with the prevention and care of athletic injuries
- Manage evaluation of injuries and general medical ailments
- Ensure proper medical record-keeping and reporting procedures
- Any and all other duties assigned by the Staff Minor League Athletic Trainer
Experience, Education, and Licensure:
- CPR/AED certification
- Bachelor's degree
- Prefer experience with another Major League team or its affiliates
- English and Spanish language proficiency are a plus.
Requirements:
- Must be available to begin April 1, 2025, and continue through the completion of the 2025 regular season.
Expectations:
- Adhere to Cincinnati Reds Organization Policies and Procedures.
- Act as a role model within and outside the Cincinnati Reds Organization.
- Perform duties as workload necessitates.
- Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
- Meet department productivity standards.
- Willingness to learn. Open to new methodologies.
