Job Summary
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach courses in Electro Mechanical Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the subject area and excellent teaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver learning-centered instruction by establishing a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement.
- Prepare all course materials and lessons, including topical outlines and standardized syllabus.
- Provide clear course expectations, evaluations, and timelines to students.
- Design and administer examinations to assess achievement of course objectives.
- Complete end-of-term responsibilities, including submission of final grades and attendance records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a closely related degree.
- At least three (3) years industry or business experience in the teaching subject area.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act effectively as a member of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field, or professional license.
- Previous teaching experience in an academic environment.
- Five (5) years' industry or business applied experience in the teaching subject area.
