Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the support and supervision of the facilities operations. Will be responsible for preparing the stadium areas for events, supporting assigned groups and committees during tournaments and assisting with club operations as needed.

To provide outstanding service for our fans, contractors, exhibitors, vendors, sponsors, volunteers, staff and club members.

Pre-Tournament Duties:
· Recruiting, hiring, training and scheduling of Field Service Interns
· Monitor Teamwork Online/Handshake recruiting sites
· Identify qualified candidates and conduct Microsoft Teams Interviews
· Recommend candidates for hire
· Respond to any field service intern questions
· Create job specific position descriptions and training materials.
· Assess interns progress and suggest ways to improve productivity
· Monitor the level of teamwork and cohesiveness of the intern staff and find ways to improve it
· Manage all court related procedures
· Support court resurfacing contractors
· Manage court washing projects and drying processes
· Oversee pressure washing contractors
· Order necessary court supplies
· Organize all court storage rooms
· Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to prepare the grounds
· Manage ball person tryouts with other Operation Supervisors
· Assist facilities interns in preparing their areas
· Order tournament supplies as needed
· Oversee/assist with pre-tournament projects/site set-up.
· Support assigned contractors in completion of their tournament preparations
Tournament Duties:
· Assist the Facility Managers/Directors with monitoring all facility and operations activities inside the site

· Maintain horticultural areas and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This includes watering, landscape maintenance, mowing and weeding.
· Manage irrigation system and run times
· Manage intern timesheets
· Support and manage the landscaping contractors and the plant suppliers.
· Support, assist, and oversee Sponsor Hospitality areas
· Spot check all areas for safety and / or security concerns
· Support the ATP and WTA tour supervisors, trainers and player medical personnel
· Assist in hospitality setups and CAD configurations
· Assist Facility Managers/Directors in performing opening and closing responsibilities for the site
Post-Tournament Duties:
· Secure all equipment and supplies.
· Assist in the return of rental equipment
· Analyze vehicular and foot traffic data and make recommendations based upon trends and observations
· Collect keys and change combinations on padlocks.
· Retrieve all court supplies and store away as needed
· Adjust irrigation to post tournament settings
· Inventory assigned areas
· Make recommendations to improve the position and the tournament from year to year
· Complete post-tournament projects (landscaping, back wall vinyl, equipment winterization, etc.)
· Produce post-tournament report
· Update Operations photos each year
· Evaluate interns’ performance
Year-round/Club/Events Duties:
· Opening and closing responsibilities
· Grounds maintenance
· Bird mitigation
· Schedule/support facility contractors
· Create materials/recommendations to improve internship program
· Maintain storage areas by cleaning and organizing
· Manage on-site events before and after the tournament.
· Preserve windscreens, court equipment
· Assist in winterization of facilities
· Maintain operations equipment
· Obtain forklift and other equipment certifications
Qualifications
· Completed four-year college degree or have equivalent work experience.
· Ability to communicate and work well with others in a professional work environment
· Ability to work independently
· Be motivated to be successful and work hard to help attain organizational and departmental goals
· Applicants must be able to and willing to work long hours and weekends as needed for year-round club operations and events/tournaments
· Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
