CTS is hiring a problem-solving, focused leader to fill our Production Manager role at our Blue Ash, Ohio manufacturing location. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Creates and manages the administration of all production department budgets.
- Directs the profitability and quality of the production workforce.
- Leads supervisors to effectively schedule workflow and directs the hourly workforce to assure customer requirements.
- Defines production best practices and implements proper training.
- Analyzes production and cost reports to identify problems or potential areas for cost improvement efforts.
- Leads production engineering throughput improvement efforts to improve processes through tooling and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Involvement in hiring, discipline, separation and other supervisory responsibilities.
- Plans and directs other projects assigned by the profit center General Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
More About You
- Bachelors Degree (Business or Engineering preferred) plus 3 years of experience in Operations (Production); or Certification in Facilities Management or Facilities Engineering plus 5 years’ experience in Operations (Production); or 7 years’ experience in Operations (Production).
- Experience in thermal spray environment, strongly preferred
