What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thermal Spray Operator - 2nd Shift position at Cincinnati Thermal Spray, Inc.?
Summary:
Applies thermal spray coatings to parts according to specifications, following process planning. He/she may also perform support operations that may include any, some, or all of the support tasks such as Mask/Deburr, Grit Blast/Glass Bead, Cleanup/Unmask, Ship/Receive, Inspect and Part Marking.
Essential Duties:
Obtains CTS certifications for one or more of the following types of thermal spray (certification for each type must be obtained separately): Combustion, Plasma, HVOF or Electric arc.
Set up the booth and spray equipment.
Apply the required coating materials to parts in accordance with process planning.
Ensures that all required paperwork is completed and that all required data is recorded.
Perform basic preventive maintenance on spray and material feed equipment.
Follow work instructions from applicable process planning (technical plans, drawings, planning, or procedures).
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Ability to work 2nd shift hours.

Education, Experience:
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in manufacturing a plus. Training will be provided.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR and the company's export control procedures.
Welding experience a plus, but not required.
