Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all customers feel welcomed and valued. Your ability to collaborate with team members and upsell menu items will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
• Upsell food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy shifts.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
• Properly selling alcoholic beverages to all customers.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining experience for guests.
• A positive attitude with excellent communication skills is essential.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $4.01 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
