We are seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and test embedded firmware for electronic controls used in commercial laundry equipment across industries such as laundromats, hotels, hospitals, universities, and more. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to global product innovation.
Responsibilities :
- Become a subject matter expert on microelectronic product portfolios.
- Establish firmware architecture requirements.
- Write detailed design specifications for microelectronic control systems.
- Develop and execute control test specifications in collaboration with contract manufacturers.
- Validate functional test equipment produced by contract manufacturers.
- Maintain configuration information for microelectronic product portfolios.
- Participate in cross-functional team activities, including product development meetings, pilot builds, and user manual reviews.
- Draft engineering change notifications and detailed test lab orders.
- Investigate firmware issues, drive root cause analysis, and develop resolutions.
- Perform firmware development and testing in lab environments.
