Keyholder (Retail Cannabis Shift Lead)

Location: Cinder Valley - 1421 N Mullan Rd Suite C Spokane Valley, WA 99206
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Starting Wage: From $18/hr - $20/hr
Work Hours:
- Eight hour shifts, five shifts a week
- Hours of store operation are 8:00am-11:00pm
Keyholder Responsibilities Include (not limited to):
- Leadership: Coach, delegate, and motivate budtenders to perform their best
- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding service and process customer returns
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe and compliant work environment for employees and customers
- Opening and Closing: Proper and efficient store opening and closing procedures
- Conflict Resolution: Gracefully resolve customer inquiries and troubleshoot complaints effectively
- Team Support: Monitor breaks, provide feedback, and encourage a positive work environment
- Cash Handling: Handle till operations, daily deposits, and tips consolidation
- Operational Support: Assist with inventory and office duties as needed
- Feedback: Deliver quality constructive feedback and uphold team accountability
- Management Support: Offer insight, feedback, and communication to management
Other Job Duties Include:
- Serving customers by helping them select products based on needs, preference, and budget
- Following Washington State Liquor Control Board rules, laws, and regulations
- Checking customer ID’s to verify legal purchasing age
- Processing cash and debit payments through PosaBit POS system with accuracy
- Maintaining appearance of the sales floor including merchandising, cleaning, organizing, and restocking
- Keeping yourself and the team up to date with cannabis education and product knowledge

Requirements:
- Must be 21
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Retail, sales, or customer service experience
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Open/flexible availability preferred, including nights and weekends
Preferred Experience:
- Leadership experience (supervising or managing a team)
- Cannabis industry experience (preferred, but not required)
