About the Role
We are hiring multiple candidates for this position!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Utilize OLAF task management software to identify samples requiring probing.
- Physically retrieve and organize samples from designated storage cabinets.
- Operate Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to load samples, locate probing sites, and conduct analysis.
- Use CAD software to align physical samples with corresponding CAD layouts.
- Analyze signal transmission across chip layers, tracing signals in CAD to identify drivers and receivers.
- Perform precise probe manipulation using a joystick controller to establish contact and collect accurate data.
- Compile, document, and communicate measurement results through detailed reports.
- Apply fundamental knowledge of MOSFET operation to analysis; advanced understanding of semiconductor physics and processing technology is beneficial.
About You
- Education: Bachelor of Science in the STEM field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with:
- Using OLAF task management software
- Operate Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) for failure analysis.
- Utilizing CAD software to align physical samples with layouts.
- Analyzing signal transmission and trace signals in CAD.
- Performing precise probe manipulations for data collection.
- Applying knowledge of MOSFET operation and semiconductor physics.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on analytical tool experience including SEM, Transmission Electron Microscopy and/or beam based tools.
- Basic knowledge of Semiconductors
- Metrology data processing and statistical analysis
- Has an understanding of device physics and circuits
