- Greet guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests.
- Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions.
- Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
- Seat guests when applicable.
- Consistently use suggestive selling techniques.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate food orders.
- Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames.
- Consistently wipe down and sanitize high-contact areas.
- Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks.
- Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks.
- Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Proof of age (Associates who will be serving, pouring, or mixing alcoholic beverages must be 18 or 21, depending on state requirements).
- Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
- Team Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
- Prior serving or bar experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Requires regular and consistent attendance.
- Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
