Server Role Summary:
The Server is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by greeting guests with a smile, making thoughtful menu suggestions, and ensuring quick and timely service. This role provides a vital link between our guests and the kitchen staff, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of a Server include:

• Greet guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the guest experience.
• Accurately record food and beverage orders from guests.
• Verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions.
• Ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Seat guests when applicable.
• Consistently use suggestive selling techniques.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate food orders.
• Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames.
• Consistently wipe down and sanitize high-contact areas.
• Properly utilize Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks.
• Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks.
• Monitor safety and security issues and report to management.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Proof of age (Associates who will be serving, pouring, or mixing alcoholic beverages must be 18 or 21, depending on state requirements).
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required.
• Team Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program.
• Prior serving or bar experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Provides excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Responds with a sense of urgency.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
The Server role requires frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs., as well as standing, walking, and reaching around the theater. The noise level may be moderate to high at times. The Server must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
