We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Audio Video Specialist and Programmer to join our innovative team.

Position Overview: As an Audio Video Technician/Programmer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, programming, and troubleshooting of advanced audio-video systems and smart home automation solutions. You will work with cutting-edge technologies from Control4, Crestron, and Savant to deliver seamless user experiences tailored to our clients’ needs. Projects may involve both residential and commercial spaces, with occasional travel outside of Arizona.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement custom audio-video systems for residential and commercial projects.
  • Program and configure Control4, Crestron, and Savant systems to meet client specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with integrated systems.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Provide on-site system testing, calibration, and client training.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Mentor junior team members and share expertise.
  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Perform cabling tasks and ensure proper low voltage installations.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues related to AV systems.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in installations and repairs.
  • Conduct field service visits to assess client needs and provide on-site support.
  • Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to perform repairs and upgrades on AV equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio-video integration and automation programming.
  • Proficiency in programming Control4, Crestron, and Savant systems (certifications preferred).
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and IP-based systems.
  • Experience with video distribution, audio calibration, lighting control, and motorized shades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Proven experience in audio visual engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, electrical systems, and low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with software troubleshooting techniques for AV systems.
  • Experience working with hand tools and performing mechanical tasks is essential.
  • Ability to read schematics and understand technical documentation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with a team.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be personable with clients.
