JOB SUMMARY

Bartender Trainers act as a Brand Ambassador for Cinepolis and create a spirit of excellence and fun and can be key in creating an indulging experience for our guests. They must have a wide breadth of knowledge to train the bartenders, and ability to recommend items as well as ensure consistent drink quality by preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines. They also maintain a clean, sanitary,

and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service.

JOB DUTIES

• Set the example for the rest of the staff in all areas of guest service.
• Continuously develop and train the bar tending staff.
• Follow any/all assigned training schedules.
• Provide feedback to trainee and management on training progress.Follow any/all assigned training schedules.
• Train the staff to process all payments correctly and promptly to ensure they have a smooth transition into the theater.
• Greet guests who approach all bar area immediately with a smile and warm hospitality, embodying Nice and Amazing Service.
• Demonstrate Passion and Commitment by rapidly and accurately taking food and beverage orders and using selling maximizations for every guest.
• Create a unique and amazing experience for guests by possessing full knowledge of bar and menu items and being able to make recommendations.
• Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements, 21 or older, for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for server orders, patrons of the bar, lobby and lounge following standard recipes.
• Clean as you go including glasses, utensils, bar equipment, and bussing tables.
• Implement alcohol service and safety training, including but not limited to the following: ensuring that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only, not over serving an intoxicated guest, and do not hesitate to ask for management intervention if necessary.
• Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar.
• Keep Managers up to date on inventory levels.
• Wash and sanitize all stemware.
• Navigate guest complaints and assist with requests or direct them to proper resource if unable to assist.
• Complete all opening, mid and closing procedures- including but not limited to side work.
• Other duties as assigned.

• EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 1 years of bar tending experience with full bar in a Cinepolis theater.
  • ServSafe and Alcohol training certifications required.
  • Ability to work with Vista Point of Sale System and perform basic math.
    • Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, traversing stairs and bending on a frequent basis.
    • Possibility of lifting between 25-50lbs.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with employees, guests, and management.
    • Organized and able to prioritize in a fast paced and constantly changing environment while maintaining a smile and positive attitude.
    • Great communication skills with the ability to handle difficult and stressful situations and issues in a positive

• manner.
