ROLE PURPOSE 

The purpose of this role is to provide excellent guest service in the Box Office area, to sell tickets, answer the phone and guest inquiries. The Box Office is the first stop in the guest experience, and it is important to make a good first impression in this area and be able to explain everything that we have to offer.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

· Ensure service is timely, thorough, professional and helpful 

· Maintain cleanliness of all box office/usher areas including but not limited to box office, lobby, restrooms, hallways, auditoriums and employee breakroom 

· Operate point-of-sale system and make correct change while exhibiting professional cash-handling skills 

· Ensure the security of all box office cash and tickets 

· Usher guests by scanning tickets and directing to the correct theater 

· Inform management of any guest issues or maintenance requests 

· Answer phone calls and resolve issues that may arise 

· Adhere to the company policies and procedures 

· Perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to opening, mid-day and closing procedures 

· Assist team members with cleaning the auditoriums, closing concessions procedures, and attending to guests in the main and side lobby areas 

· Assist all guest inquiries in person and over the phone including but not limited to describing movie synopses, navigating complaints, and recommending promotional items 

· Communicate any projection issues with the management team as they are reported to you 

· Enforce ratings to keep underage guests from accessing auditoriums with adult content  

· Attend all mandatory meetings and training 

· Other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

· Exceptional guest service, administrative and follow-up skills 

· Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, traversing stairs and bending on a frequent basis 

· Able to perform tasks with minimal supervision 

· Proper cash handling etiquette and basic math skills 

· Equally comfortable communicating and working with guests, peers, and supervisors 

· Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends
