Cinergy Technology Inc is looking for an Intermediate Mainframe / COBOL Developer with strong coding and algorithm skills who can work independently to deliver high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mainframe technologies and COBOL development and will contribute effectively to our projects.
NOTE: Only IL Locals Needed, No Relocation candidates !!!
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe-based applications using COBOL.
- Analyze and optimize existing code for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Provide input into system design and architecture.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in mainframe development.
- Proficient in COBOL programming with strong algorithm and coding skills.
- Experience working with mainframe tools and utilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
