Cinfed is searching for a Card Services Representative I based in Cincinnati, OH at the Oakley Headquarters.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for monitoring card operations and for maintaining all related records including balance sheets, network settlement reports, data processing reports, and outage records. Researches and resolves member problems and informs members of adjustment corrections. To actively promote the credit union’s full line of products. Provides professional and high-quality member service. To assist the Card Services Department in the overall efficient operations, effectiveness and quality of the debit and credit programs.
Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Assumes responsibility for the efficient and effective performance of assigned card functions.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with employees and members.
- Assists with the responsibility of disabling cards due to fraudulent activity.
- Assists with the responsibility of cardholder disputes.
- Educates members as to safe and secure use of debit cards.
- informs members of changes in card services policy.
- Assumes responsibility for all other related duties as required or assigned.
Required Experience:
- High School education or equivalent is required.
- Must be proficient in computer applications; possess a significant level of trust and diplomacy.
- Must possess good math, communication, and attention to detail skills.
- At least 6 months of previous experience in customer service is required.
