About the Role
CINQCARE is seeking a Vice President, Head of Compliance & Risk Management to lead our enterprise-wide compliance and risk management functions. The VP will play a critical role in ensuring CINQCARE operates in full compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare laws and regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating organizational risks. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in healthcare compliance, and risk management.
Reporting to the Chief Legal and External Affairs Officer who is the Chief Compliance Officer, the Head of Compliance & Risk Management will be a strategic leader, collaborating with executives and operational teams to embed a culture of compliance, ethics, and risk awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities
Compliance Leadership & Oversight :
- Develop, implement, and oversee CINQCARE’s compliance program, ensuring adherence to applicable healthcare laws and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, PHI, CMS, Medicaid, Medicare, and state-specific healthcare requirements-and clinical documentation compliance
- Ensure ongoing monitoring, education, and enforcement of compliance policies and procedures.
- Lead internal compliance audits and investigations, responding to regulatory inquiries and reporting key findings to senior leadership and the board.
- Establish and maintain effective compliance training programs for employees, ensuring consistent understanding of regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Provide guidance on complex healthcare regulatory matters, including billing and coding compliance, anti-kickback statutes, fraud and abuse laws, and managed care regulations.

The working environment and physical requirements of the job include :
In-office work (minimum three days per week) is performed indoors in a traditional office setting with conditioned air, artificial light, and an open workspace.
In this position you will need an to communicate with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers in person and over devices, sometimes with people who are agitated. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Must be able to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents. Lifting of up to 10 lbs. occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. Good reasoning ability is important. Able to understand and utilize management reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business.
