Sr. Software Engineer

JOB TITLE:  Sr. Software Engineer  
LOCATION:  East Peoria, IL
ON SITE/HYBRID/REMOTE:  On site
SALARY:  $57-62/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:
-     Software architecture and design, including documentation
-    Capture and analyze system requirements
-    Develop, deploy, and manage C# Web APIs
-    Design and develop data-driven applications
-    Using and managing source control systems (Git)
-    Database development administration (Oracle, SQLServer)
-    Operating system administration (Windows, Powershell)
-    Troubleshooting of database and reporting platforms
-    Implement and manage software security and access control (SAML)
-    Participate on many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teams
-    Lead new technology initiatives in industrial applications

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-    This position supports the company’s heat treat manufacturing equipment, processes, and technological development around the world. AMT is currently seeking an experienced Software Specialist to deliver world-class support to our business unit customers. The Software Specialist bears primary responsibility for application development and programming, database administration, security implementation, and application change management.
-    The incumbent performs work to deploy pull replenishment at supplier facilities, including supplier inventory sizing activities. The incumbent performs the Supply Chain Planning Process with suppliers, providing support to project teams.  
-    Incumbent works on projects to implement improved supplier collaboration with third party service providers using common collaboration technologies.  
-    Incumbent supports and facilitates supplier interaction with business division packaging and transportation resources to optimize packaging, containerization, point of use presentation, barcode

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
-    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent industry experience
-    Advanced Computer Science Degree
-    5-10 years’ experience (flexible with years of experience) and will count internship as well
-    Open to master’s degree and years of experience is flexible

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-    C . Net
-    C sharp net

-    Desired
-    Experience with historian and OPC clients
-    Experience supporting manufacturing operations
-    Experience with SCADA systems (FTOptix, Wonderware Archestra)
-    Experience with unified modeling language (UML)
-    Experience with automated software regression testing
-    Operational technology cybersecurity experience
