Job Description: Software Developer
Location: Huntsville, AL or Chantilly, VA
Position Type: Full-Time
Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Develop, code, test, and debug new software or enhancements to existing software.
- Possess a good understanding of business applications and user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
- Work with technical staff to understand and resolve software issues.
- Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
- Assist in the development of software user manuals.
- Responsible for desktop design, testing, security lockdown implementation, integration with standard software packages, integration with automated patching and deployment technologies, documentation, and training.
- Automate application and configuration deployments and updates.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of software development and debugging techniques.
- Proficiency in coding and testing software.
- Experience with business applications and understanding of user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical staff and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and documentation.
- Familiarity with desktop design, security implementation, and automated patching and deployment technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
