Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot complex vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, electrical, and suspension systems.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning vehicle components such as engines, brakes, exhaust systems, and electronic systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire alignments, fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake servicing
- Interact with customers to explain vehicle issues, recommend necessary repairs or maintenance, provide cost estimates, and ensure a clear understanding of services performed
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards while conducting all repairs and maintenance
Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Completion of a formal automotive training program and ASE certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in automotive repair, with a strong background in diagnosing and fixing issues across various vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, scan tools, and computer-based systems to identify complex vehicle issues and implement accurate solutions
- Valid drivers license
