Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels
- Issue purchase orders (POs), verify pricing, and promised delivery dates
- Monitor stock levels and reorder raw stock goods to prevent shortages or excess inventory
- Work with vendors and suppliers to manage incoming stock and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
- Oversee the organization of storage areas for efficiency and accessibility.
- Resolve issues related to product quality, pricing discrepancies, and delivery delays.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and remain laser focused on cost-saving opportunities.
- Generate inventory reports and metrics, presenting findings to management on a regular basis when reporting is available.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders via email, phone, and in person.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records prior to and throughout the implementation of the Epicor ERP system.
- Work with the Publix team on a plan to successfully move all products currently stored and shipped from Ray Hamilton, back into the CIP facility utilizing the current space we have available.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes, as needed, ensuring proper documentation.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing and inventory control management.
- Proficiency in database management and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data and recommend solutions.
- Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
