Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting facility equipment, including HVAC systems, water purification, and clean room environments.
- Respond to technical and operational issues related to facility infrastructure.
- Monitor facility systems for any abnormalities and ensure timely intervention.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure adherence to GMP and other relevant regulatory standards for the pharmaceutical industry.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Project Support:
- Participate in facility improvement projects, including installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Support energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives within the facility.
- Assist in evaluating technical specifications for new machinery and infrastructure updates.
- Safety & Risk Management:
- Ensure safety standards are met and that all work adheres to the company’s safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and report any safety hazards or potential risks.
- Support emergency response protocols, including addressing facility-related emergencies.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the operations, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless facility support.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for equipment servicing and repair work.
- Communicate facility performance and status to relevant internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facility operations.
- Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, and other relevant regulations (preferred).
Experience
- Pharma relevant experience is a plus.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a similar role (preferred but not required).
Skills/ Competencies
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering design software (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to document and manage compliance data.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Salary : $68,000 - $78,000
