Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Must be willing to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
- Perform regular cleaning tasks in common areas, including hallways, production floors, locker rooms, changing rooms and storage areas.
- Manually clean, scrub, and rinse equipment, parts, drums and tools following standard cleaning procedures (SOPs).
- Apply approved cleaning agents and sanitizing solutions to disinfect surfaces and equipment as per standard cleaning procedures (SOPs).
- Dispose of waste following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Ensure adequate stock of cleaning supplies, such as detergents, sanitizers, and brushes, and report low inventory levels to supervisors.
- Follow procedures for safe handling, disposal, and storage of cleaning agents and hazardous materials.
- Complete logs, checklists, and reports on cleaning activities and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
- Participate in training programs on updated cleaning protocols and safety practices.
- Use appropriate tools such as carts, forklifts, and pallet jacks to transport heavy or bulky items, following all safety regulations.
- Prepare and distribute supplies to designated production areas as requested.
