Job Summary
The Director of Marketing will be responsible for leading and managing all marketing initiatives within the organization. He/She will oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation. The Director of Marketing will work closely with the executive team to drive growth and brand awareness, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and performance. The Director must identify key opportunities and challenges in the market and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective marketing plans. He/She will also be responsible for managing relationships with external agencies and vendors as well as identifying marketing opportunities at appropriate conferences and execute the planning of event, ensuring the marketing budget is efficiently allocated to meet business objectives. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of market trends and consumer behavior are essential to this role. The Director of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and work closely with senior leadership to support the company’s growth and strategic goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees the marketing department, campaign strategies, and budget allocation, ensuring alignment with company goals
- Works closely with other department heads to monitor marketing performance, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams
- Leads, mentors, and develops the entire marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Actively participates in day-to-day operations, taking a hands-on approach in executing key marketing initiatives and campaigns
- Works directly with team members on content creation, social media strategies, email campaigns, and performance analysis, ensuring high-quality output and results
- Makes data-driven recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors to optimize marketing strategies and drive company growth
- Ensures the marketing team is constantly learning and evolving by providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- Manages the recruitment and performance evaluation processes to build and maintain a strong, high-performing marketing team
Duties/Responsibilities
- Directs the development of marketing strategies, including brand positioning, digital campaigns, content creation, and lead generation
- Manages the planning and execution of the annual marketing budget in alignment with the company’s growth objectives
- Tracks and analyzes marketing campaign performance, comparing projected metrics (sales, engagement, etc.) to actual results, and adjusts strategies as needed
- Reviews and refines the marketing planning process, suggesting improvements for greater effectiveness and efficiency
- Analyzes market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for expansion into new products, services, or markets
- Collaborates with the CEO and other executives to coordinate strategic planning and establish marketing priorities for the organization
- Studies long-term industry trends and assesses the potential impact on future growth in sales, market share, and brand presence
- Identifies new opportunities for brand partnerships, sponsorships, and promotional campaigns
- Event planning and management
- Manages relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media partners to optimize marketing efforts
- Supports strategic initiatives, such as product launches, mergers, or partnerships, and ensures effective integration into the marketing strategy
- Leads all marketing performance communication to the Board of Directors
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven experience as a Director of Marketing, Marketing Manager, or relevant role
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Proficiency in marketing tools and software (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong and proven leadership capabilities with a creative and strategic mindset
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make strategic marketing decisions
- Experience in brand management, digital marketing, and marketing analytics
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Ten plus years of experience in marketing, business administration, or related fields required
