General Description
The Box Check-In Clerk role is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for visual inspections, checking in boxes, and building extra checked-in pallets for Sort Lines. The individual will communicate regularly with Management, Material Handlers, and utilizes FileMaker software to successfully prepare material to be sorted.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with Material Handlers as material is needed and completed.
- Communicate with Management on non-conforming material and issues that arise.
- Safely utilize cutting tools to access inner boxes for visual inspection.
- Utilize FileMaker software to check in boxes in preparation for sort.
- Keep a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Operate a rotating lift table.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time
- Has basic computer skills
- Has excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to perform repetitive job motion
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to read measuring devices
Education and Training Requirements
- Preferred 6 months experience in warehouse.
- Basic computer skills.
