JOB SUMMARY : Provide outstanding guest service while writing and paying Sportsbook tickets and providing information to guests. Answer customer questions related to sports and sports betting. Process contest selections and parlay cards, as well as signing players up for player's rewards cards. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures within the Sportsbook Department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all timesAccurately write and pay valid sportsbook ticketsOperate wagering terminal and perform machine maintenance, including but not limited to loading new tickets and keeping the area free of all debrisAnswers to all guests, explain wagering information, questions in a manner that reflects an understanding of the department and property in generalMust have a full understanding of all wagers offered on betting board with ability to explain to customers as neededAssist supervisors in identifying guests with special needs or liberal betting to ensure the protection of the company assets and best guest service possibleObserve and report unusual or suspicious wagering patterns or transactionsClean and maintain the Front and Back of House work area - inform necessary persons of any supply shortagesQUALIFICATIONS : Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal formHave basic math skillsUnderstand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules and regulations, policies and proceduresMust be able to establish and maintain effective working relationship with team members and guestsMust be able to maintain Nevada Gaming Registration under Circa Hospitality Group, LLC.Must be 21 years of ageEDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : High School graduate or equivalentPrevious sportsbook experience preferredPHYSICAL, MENTAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT : Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbolsAbility to climb, bend, reach, pull up to 35 pounds, walk and stand for the duration of the shiftManual dexterity to operate job related equipmentWork is typically in an area which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy and may contain second hand smokeTasks performed from a sitting or non-sitting positionPerformance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area.
