This role will lead and manage all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and month-end close activities. You'll be a key point of contact for vendors and internal teams, building strong relationships and providing exceptional support. As a leader, you'll also motivate, train, and develop a high-performing AP team
What You’ll Accomplish and Experience
Accounts Payable Management
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Maintain vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Monitor cash flow.
- Accurately account for prepaid assets and accrual accounting.
- Manage month-end financial transactions including journal entries.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
Team Leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Set clear goals and expectations.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Financial Reporting
- Contribute to financial planning and analysis.
- Monitor expenditures and identify variances.
- Prepare reports and analyses as needed.
Desirable Previous Experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Familiarity with common AP systems is essential for efficiency.
- Understanding Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ensures compliance and accuracy.
- Experience with cash flow analysis and modeling.
- Experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
- 1 years of experience leading or supervising a team.
