Our programs, including sleep-away camps, outdoor education, and private group rentals, teach and embody this mission. Located in Central Florida, The Ranch is a dynamic outdoor education center and group rental facility. Our unique setting challenges youth and adults in adventure education, environmental ethics, outdoor skills, teambuilding, and leadership.
Facilities include high and low ropes courses, over 50 horses, and our own lake with waterfront amenities. We seek enthusiastic, outdoor-minded staff ready to live and work in Florida.
Our facilitators are energetic, have a strong work ethic, and excel in customer service. Weekly, facilitators teach various age groups in science, outdoor & adventure education, teambuilding, and leadership development. On weekends, they assist with private guest groups, ensuring smooth operations and timely responses to needs.
Our facilitators work long hours, a typical day when groups are on site starts at 8am and will go through to 8pm.
- Required Qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills
- Experience in outdoor education or related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Ability to work long hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in outdoor education or wilderness first aid is a plus
- Preferred University/College degree in a related field
