Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sitework Superintendent to oversee field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and extensive experience in sitework, utilities, and concrete construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management:

  • Direct and oversee on-site construction teams, ensuring optimal productivity and morale.
  • Mentor and coach crew members to promote professional growth and maintain high performance.
  • Manage workforce assignments, addressing issues to ensure smooth operations.

• Project Execution:

  • Ensure all work is completed according to blueprints, project specifications, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to align field operations with project timelines and budgets.
  • Implement and monitor quality control standards to guarantee precision in grading, utility installations, and concrete work.

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and meetings to promote a secure work environment.
  • Address and resolve any on-site safety concerns promptly.

• Resource Management:

  • Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment and materials, minimizing waste and downtime.
  • Manage inventory and ensure timely procurement of resources.

• Communication & Reporting:

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and Project Managers.
  • Maintain detailed daily logs, progress reports, and records of work completed.
  • Provide updates to senior management on project status and challenges.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of supervisory experience in sitework, utilities, and concrete construction.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, and materials.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
